Accelerating Innovation


As Program Manager to PayPal’s agentic workstreams, I was tasked by executive leadership to create a new program to accelerate innovation within the product development lifecycle - PDLC.

Partnering with the Sr Director of Design, I assembled a small group of UX designers, content designers and researchers to develop a strategy and series of tests. My role was to define the program’s objectives, drive planning for the pilots, create measurement plans and oversee execution.

We focused on 2 priority objectives:
- Raise the quality of design
- Reduce friction within the product development lifecycle

After conducting surveys and interviews with design, research, and product teams key pain points across the PDLC were identified clarifying where teams cut corners for the sake of moving fast. Sacrificing craft and the due diligence of ensuring quality. Below are several of the pilots we ran over a 3 month period to address issues of quality and increase focus time (reducing administrative tasks).
